No. SignalFloor is not copy trading.
SignalFloor offers optional strategy execution in a connected broker account. It uses your account risk settings rather than copying a creator's lot size. You can also trade signals manually. Live trading requires separate authorization for each account.

How a connected account receives a trade
Choose the source channel for each account in Routing. Set the risk you want that account to use. The same trade can have a different size in two accounts because their funds and risk limits differ. A market order asks the broker to fill at the available price. A limit or stop order waits for its price conditions. A queued request is not a fill, and a post on the channel is not a broker receipt. Check the account status to see whether the broker accepted the request. Prices, spread and market hours can affect the result. Pausing new trades does not erase open positions. The service keeps the links to those trades so close and cancel requests can reach the same account. Live trading needs a separate choice on each live account.
What Is Copy Trading?
Copy trading copies one account's trades into another account for you.
- User accounts are connected to a master trader’s account
- Trades are executed automatically without user intervention
- Position sizes are typically scaled based on account balance
- Users have limited or no control over individual trades
How SignalFloor Is Different
SignalFloor operates on a fundamentally different model:
- The creator's size is not your size.
- Trade yourself, or connect a supported MT5 account and enable automatic execution.
- Live trading stays off until that account turns it on.
Comparison
| Feature | Copy Trading | SignalFloor |
|---|---|---|
| Trade | Copied | Yours, or sent |
| Account | Required | Optional |
| Size | Copied | Yours |
| Live | On | Off until you turn it on |
Why This Matters
The distinction is important for several reasons:
- Risk control:
- Users can adjust position sizes, skip signals, or modify execution
- Learning:
- Evaluating signals develops trading understanding over time
- Accountability:
- Users are responsible for their own decisions
- Flexibility:
- Signals from multiple providers can be compared and combined
